How to Get Your Installation ID from Microsoft

For Windows: Your Installation ID is a unique identifier generated during the Windows activation process. It can be found by:

  1. Open the Run dialog (Windows Key + R), type wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey and press Enter.
    (Note: This retrieves the product key; for the installation ID, check your system information or activation details.)

For Microsoft Office: To get your Installation ID:

  2. Click on File in the menu.
